From the arrival of the first British settlers in Sydney Cove to one of the best examples of late modern architecture, Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour was a rich history. The site is currently home to the Sydney Opera House. A marvelous structure of interlocking vaulted shells whose glazed tiles glisten on the sunlight. Glass facades provide stunning vistas of the harbor, traversed by ferries and ships of all sizes. Inside the Opera House is filled with symphonies, ballets, operas, comedies and concerts. As the sun sets over the harbor and the Opera House us aglow, couples walk hand-in-hand and steal a kiss below the starry sky.
